Your Donation Today Lights Up Manavali Village Tomorrow

Dear Team,

Imagine living in a village where stepping out after sunset means walking in complete darkness. This is the daily reality for many families in Maniwali village, Taluka- Bhiwandi, district- Thane, State - Maharashtra, where the lack of street lighting affects safety, mobility, and overall quality of life.

A recent baseline survey conducted by Youth for Seva highlighted the urgent need for reliable lighting across multiple padas of the village. In the absence of proper street lighting, villagers rely on mobile torches or kerosene lamps, making even basic movement at night unsafe.

We now have an opportunity to create a meaningful and visible impact. Our goal is to install 20 solar street lights in Maniwali.

• Cost per street light: ₹18,060 (including GST)

• Total project cost: ₹3,61,200

This initiative will:

• Improve safety and security for villagers

• Enable safe night-time mobility

• Support women, children, and the elderly

• Promote clean and sustainable energy

Each contribution will directly help in lighting up the lives of an average of 30 homes (30 families) and transforming the village environment.
